Steven Gary Schlussel is a California-born writer, songwriter, and performer currently based in Nashville. After beginning with storytelling and songwriting in his youth, he pursued music through Hollywood and later spent 15 years in the Caribbean as a Cruise Ship Music Director, where he gathered story ideas that would later shape his writing career. One stormy Halloween night in Nashville, he began writing what would become his acclaimed 'What a Life's Worth' series. Alongside writing novels, he continues to write music, perform, and work on screenplays with his creative partner.
